So Simple

As if my poor brain isn't already boggled from so many challenges, I decided to try another one this week. It is a blog hop in honor of the 100th sketch challenge on the Clean & Simple blog.

I've been following this blog for a while now and love the clean & simple lines of all their cards and I thought it would be fun to play along this time.

My sentiment didn't work out. I don't know if it is because of the paper or the stamper, probably the latter, but I just couldn't get a good embossed image and hated to toss it in the trash. I just happened to have a butterfly cut & embossed with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and it fit over the messy sentiment. A few little rhinestones from my stash decorated the little critter and tied in the Melon Mambo.

Card Recipe
Paper: Melon Mambo Textured, Bride Specialty DSP
Acc.: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Big Shot, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Rhinestones, White Satin Ribbon

It took a lot longer to figure out what I wanted to do than to actually do it.

Go on over and take a look at all the wonderful entries for this Blog Hop. What fun.

That's okay...I like it without the sentiment. I find myself making a lot of cards like that without a sentiment lately. The Bride specialty dp looks great with this CAS layout, really dresses it up.
