Northern Noel

I love this Northern Flurries Embossing Folder!  It gives such a crisp emboss!  And I have some friends who are very fond of a black and white scheme.  So another Christmas card is done.

The color scheme was really inspired by the CAS challenge today on SCS to use checks or gingham.  The only gingham I have is ribbon in red or black.  And I hadn't done anything in black and white for a while.

This embossing folder made the card super simple.  Once the embossing was done, all I had to do was stamp the sentiment, tie on the ribbon and mount it on a black card.  A few of the SU Basic Rhinestones finished it off.  It's probably one of the quickest cards I've ever made!

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Many Merry Messages
Ink:  Basic Black
Paper:  Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories:  Big Shot, Northern Flurries Embossing Folder (p. 26 of the Holiday Mini), Black Gingham Ribbon (now retired), Basic Rhinestones

Enjoy!

Short on time to make, but long on impact. This card is stunning, Bonnie!! Great way to use that lovely gingham. I love it in black and white.

This is another terrific Christmas card. Boy, you are just cookin' with fire now on that Xmas card stash! I'm wondering how I overlooked the Northern Flurries EF in the mini. Hmm. I'll have to go back and look again, 'cause this is really pretty.
