Parade

Hello Stampin' Friends.  After what seems like a long time away, I hope to be able to stamp and blog more frequently again.  We are moved into our new home.  I have a wonderful room to stamp in and can't wait to take some pictures so I can share it with you.

I have finally uncovered my stamping supplies.  Among the things on top was this image that I stamped a couple of weeks ago when I went to Roanoke Rapids to stamp with my friends there.

This week's Less is More challenge is
BUTTON OR RIBBON

(or plurals thereof)

I don't know who to credit with the image.  I didn't see any name on it.  I know that it isn't Stampin' Up!  Neither is the sentiment.  It is from my pre Stampin' Up! days.

I love the silhouette stamps and this reminds me of a group of bronze statues in front of one of our city buildings. .  There are about five or six life size statues of children in a parade.  Oh, the joy on their faces.  They always make me smile.

Hopefully I will adjust to my new schedule and be able to stamp and visit your blogs with more frequency.  We are keeping baby Jack more now and he really likes to be held.  Truthfully, I love to hold him.  He will be on the go soon enough!  My stamp room and computer are upstairs now and all the action is downstairs.  That's a challenge!  I hope to get a laptop on "tax free weekend" so I can at least visit you when I have a minute and not have to carry the baby upstairs.  There will be challenges ahead, but that's one of the things that makes life interesting.

Thanks for visiting today.  I hope you are all staying cool!

Enjoy!

Bonnie, glad you're moved in and have a nice stamp room. I see lots of creating going on in there.

Yes, enjoy baby Jack while he can still be cuddled. They're so precious.
Your card is so pretty but I can't help with the name of the image. I just don't know.

Beautiful card! I thought of those same statues when I saw it. :) How wonderful to spend more time with Jack! Definitely enjoy those snuggles. It goes too fast. Hope to catch up with you soon & check out that new stamp room!

Welcome back, glad you have a nice stamp room. You have a great blog and I've missed your cards and comments. I'm not real computer savvy so am posting anon because I can't seem to post another way.

Welcome back, Bonnie! Sounds like you've settled in nicely and are starting some new routines. I don't blame you for wanting to hold baby Jack as much as possible! Have fun. :)

This card is SO sweet--perfect for the challenge!

Gorgeous, yet simple card, Bonnie! Glad you are all moved in...a new home is a big change and a challenge to get used to, but I'm sure it will bring so many happy memories to you.

Bonnie, it's so good to see you back! I was thinking of you yesterday, how I needed to check if you had a new post yet (even though I'm an email reader), because it had seemed so long. :) Glad you are safe in a new home, and that you have a cuddly baby to hold onto.

Hi Bonnie! Moving is definitely difficult. Did you move far? Keeping a baby would absolutely wear me out! (and we're expecting a new grandson in October (our 17 grandchild!!!) I just can't keep up anymore! LOVE the silhouette stamp...but as much as I love them, I have so much trouble getting them fully inked. Is there a secret?
