Featuring Gayatri

This little bird was done with the Baby Wipe technique.


It's for the Featured Stamper at SCS a week ago last Sunday, Gayatri, aka Scrapawayg3.  This lovely card caught my eye right away.  I love birds!

All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Punch Potpourri (retired), Curly Cute (soon to be retired)
Ink:  Marina Mist
Paper:  Whisper White, Marina Mist, Old Olive
Other:  Re-inkers, baby wipe, Bird Builder Punch, Square Lattice EF, Simply Scored

I haven't done that technique in years, but your bird turned out to be quite stunning!! I love the colors and embossing!

I love birds, too, and you've made a stunner that I've never seen before! Wouldn't you faint if you saw her IRL?!

I'm seeing the Baby Wipe Technique on lots of blogs and need to go find a tute to remind me of how it's done. I seem to remember doing that years ago, but can't remember for the life of me what's involved. I mean, well, I'm guessing baby wipes are involved. See how smart I am?

BTW, I see you are one away from 200 followers, so I'm going to say Yippee and Congratulations now as I'm sure it will be over that in no time! Way to go, Bon Bon!!

I love birds, too (my goldfinches are back!) & this is a gorgeous card! I've never done that technique, but now I'm interested in it.

I love birds too (but not always their bathroom habits!). Great job on this lovely little blue fellow. I'll have to check into the babywipe technique, see if this is what I think. Very pretty on this one, Bonnie. TFS
