Winter Views

We had lots of visitors yesterday.  It was so much fun watching all the birds.

A special thank you to Jim at Love the Details for inspiring me to put the big lens on the camera and get these photos.

I hope you are warm and cozy wherever you are.

Thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy!

I LOVE these photos, Bonnie! I wish I could take pictures like this! What is the bottom photo? I wanted to tell you also, that I saw a yellow-bellied sapsucker in my tree a couple of days ago...haven't seen one of them in several years!

Such colorful little birdies against the snow. So precious!

Great photos! You put those cardinals in there just for me. I know it! Did you see that your Bird Note card was featured over at Nicecrane? If not, way to go!Liked it all over again, and that set will definitely be winging my way. Stay warm. Heard you folks are getting more of the white stuff (got the word from a cousin up in Hampton Va, about another cousin who lives in Cary! Talk about the way word spreads in a family LOL). TFS & Hugs

Nice pictures Bonnie! You have an aviary in your back yard. Those pictures are good. They will be a treasure. Thanks for sharing them. The cardinals were singing their hearts out today.

What a winter wonderland!! So pretty and love all the photo shots! I always laugh when I see how "puffed up" they can get when it's so cold.

Oh my goodness--what a wonderful variety of birds you get to see! I was thrilled to have a pair of Varied Thrushes come to our yard during the snow, but the rest were ones I see all the time. I do love watching the birds--just got a new seed mix to try.

What an amazing collection of birds. I love watching them in the garden but don't get nearly as much variety as that. In fact I get really excited if I get one that's not a usual visitor! So glad you put the big lens on!

Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful pictures!!! It brings back the wonderful memories of watching beautiful birds like this in my parents' back yard back in Ohio. They always had bird feeders out all through the winter.

These are wonderful pictures, Bonnie. I love watching birds and have a number of feeders. I've never had a bluebird, though. Right night it's mostly chickadees, cardinals and blue jays.

Oh Bonnie, How lucky are you?? What fabulous photos and wonderful visitors. I love your big bird feeder, I haven't seen anything like that in NZ. We have sparrows so recognize that wee fella. I have a birdbath and could sit for hours watching the birds preen!! Lovely!!!!!

Oh, I love your bird pictures - amazing! Must be so fun to watch them! Whenever I try to feed the birds the squirrels eat it all... :(
