Backyard Basics Butterfly Stitched

I had some left over sets from my Papercrafting classes last week.

I combined 2 and came up with this.

We used the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder leaving 1 1/2"  unembossed at the top.

Then we used the Mosaic Punch to create the decorative edge.

Some challenges for this card

Valerie Anne's Butterfly Challenge #3
is A STITCH IN TIME
She wants to see stitching (faux or real) and a butterfly on our projects.

There's real stitching on this ribbon.

It came that way.  I'm so glad!

gave this as inspiration

is MAKE YOUR MARK
I've used markers to color my butterfly.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Enjoy!

This looks so striking. Love the dark blue with just the splash of gold on the ribbon. A beautiful butterfly to finish it off. Makes me think of Morocco.
Thank you for fluttering by #3.

Oh my! That is a fabulous idea to use the mosaic punch to create an interesting border, in this case one that mimics the embossing. Your butterfly is gorgeously color. This card is wonderful!
