Merry Monday Mistletoe

It's Merry Monday time.

Can you believe it's the last day of March?

Time is flying by!  I'm so glad I've got a good start on my Christmas Cards.

Debbie chose our challenge this week.

I pulled out an old favorite stamp set, Cardinal Christmas.

This mistletoe was underused

I stamped the image in Sahara Sand and colored it by swiping markers on a plastic lid and picking up the ink with a blender pen.

The berries were colored with my White Gel Pen leaving a dot in the center of the berries and dotting with a Soft Suede marker.

The embossed label was in the snippet pile and so was the bow.

I swiped a Sahara Sand marker on my plastic lid and picked up color with the blender pen to lightly outline the design giving it more dimension.

The background card was stamped with the mistletoe stamp from the retired Easy Events.
I used VersaMark ink to stamp the background.

Be sure to go over to Merry Monday and check out the Design Team cards.
They are amazing!

So glad you stopped by.

Enjoy!

I love this beautiful card, Bonnie. The stamped Crumb Cake is the perfect base for this wonderful image.

I'm so happy to know tomorrow is the first of April. Yea!!! But, I haven't made a Christmas card yet, I don't believe...scary.

Love this card, as always! Great coloring on this image - which is so very pretty. Great embossed die to show off your super coloring - so soft against the white. Great to pair this with the kraft cardbase. Very subtle. TFS & Hugs

I love the way you stamped the mistletoe and added the red bow - a perfect take on the inspiration photo. I think that's the only mistletoe stamp I own so will have to come up with something creative with it for Merry Monday!

Your mistletoe image is so good. I thought you had used an old Christmas card! Beautiful colouring. Hugs Mrs A.
Playing catch up as blogger is still being a right pain. Have no one in my readers list tonight and the trick I use to get it back not working. Grrgh!

This is another gorgeous card! I've been pondering what mistletoe I may have so I can come and play too. I won't be able to make anything near as fancy pants as this though. Lovely card!!!! Great soft colors.
