Wild Blooms Smooshed

I think I need to stay off the Internet!

Not only do your wonderful creations inspire, but they send me in a frenzied search for all kinds of cool toys!

And then I see other things that I have to have too.

This die was one of those things.

But doesn't it make a wonderful quick and easy card?

I had some smooshed paper left over from doing Valentine cards and it worked so well to put behind the negative die cut and butterfly.

I sponged some green on the die cut stems and popped them back in.

CLEAN AND SIMPLE (CAS)

LET'S FEEL IT
(I have pearls and embossed dots and a popped up butterfly)

has opened the playground gates so I'll take my smoosh snippets over to play.

ANYTHING GOES AS LONG AS IT'S BIRTHDAY

ANYTHING GOES WITH PEARLS

Here's a link to the "smooshed" technique.

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.  We've been busily enjoying two more of out grandchildren.  Not much creative time but lots of snuggles and fun movies.

Thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy!

So very pretty.

Yes going around blogs make us "need" so much doesn't it? LOL

Well, Miss Bonnie, I think you hit the nail on the head with the enabling words! I plead guilty to that too! Now I have this die (thank goodness, else I'd be wanting it after seeing this pretty card). It is beautiful with the way you've used it. I am so loving that smooshed background of your flowers & that dressy punched corner. Your dotted frame set this off to a perfect "T"! Love it! TFS & Happy Sunday.

Beautiful, Bonnie. I love the corner punched, and the embossed background. It's a great flower to put your smooshy paper behind.

I forgot to say I laughed out loud when I saw the "I need to stay off the internet" quote. It can eat up time and get you into financial trouble. Ask me how I know. lol

Uh oh, now you've inspired me to get out my long forgotten brass stencils and start sponging! This card is beautiful, and I especially like the corner punch...which means I also have to get out my corner punch...

Oh, yes, the temptation of seeing so many stamping toys all over the Internet. I've passed up this particular MB die the couple of times I've had the chance to order some MB dies just because there are so many I want but have to keep the order within my tiny craft budget! This one is a beauty and your card is so lovely!!!

Your card is beautiful Bonnie. I love how you placed the colors behind the die-cut. Love the punched corner also. Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday.

Love that die. And indeed, all this blog hopping is TERRIBLE on the budget, just terrible.

Your card is very awesome. I like the corner punch you used on your focal image too. I'll try to live my life without any of these nice things. I'm gonna try. *sigh*

I agree with you totally, Bonnie. I keep seeing things I want / need!! For example, because of you, I want those stitched rectangle dies!!

I love your card - love the smooshed butterfly and flowers, and they look perfect on that richly coloured mat and cardbase.

Oh how elegant Bonnie! I can see why you wanted it. I so can agree with your beginning statement - half of my stash is because I saw it on someone's blog and I just had to have it. Hmmm...might have to add this one to my list too. Love your beautiful smooshed butterfly too. So glad you've joined us this week at ATS&M. Hugs D

So pretty! Here's another technique, I keep meaning to try...Like you said, I can't get OFF the COMPUTER...maybe if I would spend less time looking at all these beautiful cards everyone makes...like yours...I'd might find a minute or two to make a card (The problem is I'm a slow card maker and it takes me more than a minute or two... (sorry for the rambling) Hope you had a great weekend.
