Black Eyed Susans

I always loved the Black Eyed Susans
that grew in the meadow behind our house
when I was growing up.

This is a shameless CASE of this card by Sanketi

I used a different butterfly and sentiment but that's about it.

I used the Large Daisy Embossing folder by Darice, a NBUS,
to emboss on watercolor paper.

Then I colored with watercolor paints and my Aqua Painter.

It was really easy to follow the embossing.

as an honorable mention for last week's challenge.

Thanks again ladies.

It's beautiful, Bonnie. I love that you did the colored dry embossing. It really is easier that I would have thought before trying it.

Congratulations on another recognition, Bonnie! So well-deserved! This card is another winner in my book. I think I say that every time, but it's how I feel! You say it's really easy to follow the embossing, but yeah, no, not for everyone! You rock the watercoloring! Thank you so much for playing in my second NBUS Challenge!! Hugs, Darnell

Wow Bonnie - what a lovely card! Beautiful watercolouring and a real final splash of Summer. The nights are drawing in here and my guess is that the leaves will soon turn to Fall colours - however we do have sunshine today and also pretty high temperatures just to tease us a bit!

Hugs, Di xx
