Merry Monday Neon Ornaments

Good morning.
It's Merry Monday time.

Fun loving Kristie chose our challenge this week.

I'm not going to lie to you. This challenge scared me.

I thought and thought and couldn't think of anything neon that I could put my hands on.

Then I remembered the Japanese papers that a friend had given me.

But I should have found a neon green for the pine boughs.

I'm sure you'll do better and just wait to see what the other Merry Makers have done.
They'll blow your socks off!

Since my non-neon greenery was a snippet and the ornaments came out of the
tiniest snippets imaginable (I had to tuck and turn to get them to fit),
I'm going to skip on over to
Pixie's Snippet Playground.
Do go take a peek.
There are the most amazing cards over there and everyone plays so nicely.
Well, most of the time!  Di and the gals are great fun!

Now, I hope you'll get your NEON out and join us at
Merry Monday.

Thanks for the visit.

Enjoy!

The card is perfect Bonnie. The pine boughs are absolutely perfect as is. The porthole window is neat with the stitching all the way around it. Loving it. Jim

When I saw the challenge, I immediately wondered how you'd handled it so I quickly scrolled down through the DT cards to find yours - brilliant idea for a challenge that I knew wouldn't be your cup of tea! Love the ornaments done in those textured papers.

I am loving your neon ornaments Bonnie! I think your greenery is perfect the color it is, it might have been to much if the pines would have been neon too. Such cool paper you used and yes, I am so in low with those neon ornaments! Hugs, Brenda

Awesome design and I have no neon supplies either! I think the Japanese papers you used for your ornaments are just as cool as can be, and I loved the way you have the aperture with the ornaments & the pine boughs. Great card, and I think you did a fantastic job, like it even better than if it _had been_ neon!! TFS & Hugs

LOVE this card Bonnie! IMHO the boughs look best in the natural green you used - and those neon Japanese paper ornaments are gorgeous. It was a bit of a tough challenge this week I found! At one point I was going to rush out and buy a pad of neon multicoloured Post-it sticky notes to cut up :)

Hugs, Di xx

I thought this was the weirdest challenge when I saw it come out. To me neon and Christmas don't even compute. You and those who played along really proved me wrong. This is a fabulous card! Love those bright bulbs!
