Butterfly Thinlits Splotched

I almost talked myself out of the Butterflies Thinlits in the Stampin' Up! mini catalog.

Almost.....

I'm so glad I decided to get them!

Here's one of the quick and easy cards I made with them.

You'll be seeing more at a later date...

Because I made a dozen cards with these dies.

I remembered a piece of the watercolor splotches in my
UFO (UnFinished Objects) box.

Glued this butterfly cut out in black.

Stamped hello.

Added a few sequins.

Adhered to a card base.

Done!

I'm going to take this over to

NO RULES

and

ANYTHING GOES

Simon Monday Challenge Blog Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog

I'm so glad you could stop by today.

Enjoy!

Wow! With this gorgeous card, you're making me re-think NOT purchasing the SU butterfly! I may have to dig up my catalog again. You've made it look so stunning against that yummy watery color palette. The colors you've blended are gorgeous and I love the bits of bling you've added with the sequins. The simple black sentiment looks so striking with the black butterfly. You did an amazing job on this and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

I think it is that die right there that sells that set. The other ones are just a bonus. Great card, great water color background.
