Altenew Class Lesson 2

I have a super busy week and this will probably be the last card I get done for the Altenew Beautiful Detail classes.

This is my attempt at the class from Day 2.

I don't think I've really embraced Marika's awesome techniques but
I'm having fun using my NBUS Altenew stamps and trying some new techniques!

A reminder too that there's a few more days to enter at
CAS Mix Up
I've used Layered Stamping, Watercolor, Die Cuts and Splatter

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Peony Bouquet (Altenew), Things We Love (Hero Arts)
Ink:  Sweet Sugar Plum (SU), Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper:  Solar White (Neena 110 lb.), Mixed Media (Strathmore), Sweet Sugar Plum (SU)
Other:  Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (043 Olive Green, 046 Mid Green), Aqua Painter (SU), Sequins (SSS)

beautiful card Bonnie - no one can parallel Marika - she is so good - but we're having fun having a go at it - and you did a fantastic job!!

Having fun while trying new things AND using our NBUS is already rewarding in itself, but you also have a lovely card to show for it.

Looks pretty 'embraced' to me! Not sure exactly what it was supposed to look like, BUT I love the coloring, love the corner layout, and the elegant ribbon with those spatters, very pretty! Love this image! TFS & Hugs

Bonnie, this is SO beautiful! Love the gorgeous way you colored your leaves with those wonderful shades of green! Your shadowing is done perfectly and love the spatter too. You embellish so beautifully, never drowning your artwork but enhancing it with the right amount. I LOVE your style!

Well, no one is going to know if you got the technique right or not because this is a gorgeous card Bonnie! I have this stamp set (Thank you Momma Mary) and I just love it, but haven't made a card with it yet. It's been a busy summer so far. lol But totally love your card, the flower is stunning and I love the leaves and splatters. Love that sentiment and font too. Hugs, Brenda

I do love Altenew stamps and this is so prettily coloured Bonnie and I love the spattering and little sequins and that little touch of yellow behind the flower. Beautiful! x
