Budding Poppies with Copics

I'm still playing with Copic markers.

I had this NBUS poppy stamp calling my name and thought I'd
use those Copics of regular paper instead of vellum.

You can see I'm still into the reds.

Not much to say about it.  Just stamped, colored, fussy cut and
adhered it with dimensionals.

AAA Cards Challenge#69

My favorite stash is stamps.

Reminding you that there's still time left to join in at

Gorgeous card, my friend. Your beautiful red poppies are so vibrant and just pop off all that wonderful white space. Love the added texture with your dry embossing background and framing. xx

Your reds are gorgeous, and this is one of the hardest colors to do well (even the experts in the Copics classes tell you that!) You've done a marvelous work on this pretty image, and love the ef! Like the design where the blossom is floating outside that stitch-y frame too. TFS & Hugs

Beautiful red poppies Bonnie. I do like the addition of the black splatters in the embossed background, really helps the poppies stand out.
Sorry I haven't been commenting much but life keeps getting in the way!

As always, your card is a CAS plus WOW one due to all the special touches - choice of color, choice of the EF framed with the stitched rectangle, the black splatters, mounted with the fun foam. In one word...WOW!

Perfectly pretty! I've always thought poppies were pretty flowers. A whole field of them (a la Dorothy) would be freaky deaky though.

Simply stunning! I love all the white space and how the red flowers empower the card. I love stamps too. With all the techniques we have I still love just inking up a stamp and putting it to paper. Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!
