Shaped Up

Hello friends.

My cards are usually rectangular or sometimes square.

Today I've done something different.

The Penny Black Saturday Challenge
SHAPED CARDS - NO SQUARES OR RECTANGLES PLEASE

I've inked this sweet stamp with Distress Markers, stamped and blended with
my Aqua Painter.

Here's another that I made on Neena.  Just a plain ole rectangle.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe (both cards)
Stamps:  Enamor, Snippets (both PB)
Ink:  Peeled Paint (DI), Distress Markers (blueprint sketch, peeled paint, mustard seed)
Paper:   Neena, Mixed Media (S)
Other:  Stitched Hexagon Layers (MB), Square Lattice EF (retired SU), Splatter Brush (TH), Dragonfly brad (with prongs cut off - stash)

I've never done a shaped card and absolutely love the hex, Bonnie. Adding it to the rectangle for a second card is brilliant. What a lovely, watercolor image you used on this. Fabulous cards!

My hexagon die sits in my box so lonely and unused, you have given me the push to pull it out :)

Beautiful cards, Bonnie, and perfect design to set off that precious stamp. Love the splatters...I have found that TH brush really helps with those. Have a great day, my friend.

Great looking shaped hexagon card. I usually find shaped cards lacking something but yours has class. Love the blue flowers.

Love the sweet hexagon card! I made one that shape last Christmas - only problem is that my largest hexagon die is pretty small for a whole card. One day I might look for some bigger ones. Such sweet blue flowers on both cards!

Beautiful cards, Bonnie--love the watercoloring of the first one! Makes me think I need a hexagon die as it's a wonderful shape for a card! So glad you joined us at PBSC!

Two beautiful designs, Bonnie. The hexagon is a beautiful, regular shape. I can not say which card I like better, because both, though different, are excellent.
