Classic Ornaments for Merry Monday

I coming in just under the wire.

I was beginning to think I wouldn't make it at all.

My friend Colleen chose a beautiful inspiration photo for this week's
Merry Monday Challenge

I used blue, green and platinum Inka Gold on my craft sheet, spritzed with water and
smooshed some cardstock into it.

It has a lovely shimmer that I couldn't capture in the photo.

I did cut some ornaments adding silver caps and hangers.  The snowflakes, sentiment and
embossed background were all in my UFO box.
I'm happy to say that the Christmas UFO box is no longer popping it's top!

I asked for opinions on adding a red bird to my CAS Mix Up post.
I like it with the bird.  It's hard for me to go against a pop of red!

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Your ornaments are so pretty. Love the colours and that little bit of added sparkle with the glittery snowflake centers. Love both versions of your last card ... with or without the red, the background really shines with that design. xx

I can see the glitter on the snowflakes and sentiment and it's beautiful so I can imagine the shimmer on the ornaments is even more so, Bonnie. It's nice when leftover pieces fall together like this.

The shimmer does show quite nicely, and those icy colors look beautiful on the ornaments. I like the sparkle of the peace sentiment- and perfect E/F to complement the design. TFS & Hugs (Starlit order came this afternoon!)

The blue and green baubles go beautifully over the top of the embossed snowflake background Bonnie and are a great CASE of the inspiration photo. I love the white glitter card die cut sentiment too, and how satisfying to use up some bits from your Christmas UFO box. x
