Crocus

Hello friends.

Today I have a touch of spring to share.

Crocus are one of the earliest spring flowers although I think the daffodils
bloom earlier in my yard.

Both of these stamps are from my win at Serendipity Stamps.

I'm entering this in

Here's another project I made. This time I used the Serendipity Blackeyed Susan Alphabet stamp
and the PPP Scalloped Borders 2 die that came from Serendipity also.

I've enjoyed using it with the last two books I read by a NC author,
Donna Everhart.  It's always fun to have a new bookmark and find a new favorite author!

I'm having a wonderful time creating with these stamps.

Wish I had more creative time because I have a few more that I'm longing to play with.

Since I've used snippets for the bookmark, I'll take it over to

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Very pretty crocus! I have lost most of my bulbs to time and critters, but I do love them. How fun that you made a book marker! I enjoy using a real one, but often just use a receipt. I should probably make a few of them! TFS!

Wowsers, you got some great stamps with that win. I absolutely love the yellow crocus. I think we have daffodils around the neighborhood (and we even have a couple by our front steps, but think the ones in the front flower bed have gone by the way). Love the mottled background that lets the wonderful shades of yellow shine out so cheerily, and of course, the bookmark is a stunner. Very classy & elegant. TFS & Hugs

Beautiful card and book mark, Bonnie. The card definitely puts us in a "Think Spring" mood. We sure need it around this area given latest weather. The bookmark is such a good idea. I belong to a book club....hmmmm, you've got me thinking.

Loved seeing all that yellow on this grey rainy day in Vancouver! I have that Serendipity crocus stamp - I should get it out as it's such a good one. Both are so well done - love your watercolouring and framing of the crocuses, and the great scalloped border and scrunched ribbon on the bookmark.

The crocus are so beautifully painted, Bonnie. I can't wait to see them peeking up through the ground. The monogram fits perfectly on the bookmark, all fancied up with that edge die and wonderful ribbon.

Oh my gosh!! if there is a sign that Spring is on it's way is the peeks of green of bulbs and your card is a gorgeous example of that.
So beautifully water colored Bonnie, the stitched frame is perfect for this lovely image.
Thank you for sharing with us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE, hope you play again soon.
Hugs.
