June Flower-Rose

Hello friends.  I'm so glad you could stop by today!

Today I'm sharing June's Flower.

This started out with the rose at the top of a longer piece of cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment crooked. Bah!

Fortunately I was able to salvage the rose!  Barely!

I used my MISTI to stamp this, and used Distress Markers
for color.  Once stamped, I moved the color with my
water brush and stamped again.

To add extra shading, I swiped a marker on my palette and
picked up a little color with the water brush to add here and there.

The design piece is popped up on a piece of foam.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

A creative save to a boo-boo. Like how my eyes are drawn to the rose and the colorful mat vs. white space. The coloring of the rose is so beautiful...you sure have this technique down to an art!

What a great save Bonnie, this rose is stunning! I love the shading you got in it and so happy you were able to save it with that pierced rectangle die. Love the beautiful CAS design of this card too, it lets that beautiful rose shine! Hugs, Brenda

Your coloring on this beautiful rose is so striking, Bonnie! You really made it stand out. This is just gorgeous! Glad I'm not the only one that still stamps crooked with a MISTI, Great save though.
