Winter Tree

Hello friends.  I'm glad you could stop by today!

This month, Christine is hosting at

I used a piece of salted background left over from these cards
and stamped this winter tree on it. The MISTI enabled me to get a nice
dark stamping on the watercolor paper.

I added snow with a Snow Marker and heated it to make it puffy.

Surgically separating the sentiment made it easy to stamp it in two colors.

Bobby (bits and pieces) is our Guest Designer this month.
She and the Design Team have some amazing inspiration pieces!

I hope you'll add to your masculine Christmas card stash and join us.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Gorgeous card Bonnie - love the separated sentiment in two colours - did Darnell's Hammy pop over and help with the surgery? He was quite the dab hand on one of her stamps too.
Love the wee pop of red on the birds.
Blessings

Such a beautiful scenery for those cardinals. Loving that beautiful snowy blue sky. Your artificial snow is a true success. That surgical dissected stamp in two tones is the perfect compliment, repeating the red makes it perfectly balanced. ...it even matches the CCCC log ;-) xx

This is so picturesque and reminds me of a bright winter's day here where I live in Wisconsin! I love the dash of red from the cardinals!

Aw, my favorite red guy perched in this bare branched, twiggy tree. The salt sky background is perfect to show off the brilliant red of his feathers, and the snow effect is wonderful! TFS & Hugs
