Snow Dust for CAS Christmas

Hello friends and welcome.

It's time for a new challenge at CAS Christmas.

Hideko is our host this month and here is what she chose for us...

Our Guest Designer, Barb, and the Design team have a beautiful array
of Christmas trees to inspire you.

We have two new designers joining our team.
I'm so excited to have Colleen and Linda on board.

I hope you'll give them a warm welcome join us in our challenge.

For my card I used a stamp that I have long admired and finally added to my collection.

I stamped it with a WOW Embossing Pad and heat embossed the image.

Using sponges, I added blue inks around and over the trees.

When I was happy with the background, I sprinkled some
Chunky White Frantage over the top and heated from underneath the card
so it wouldn't blow away.

I've torn some snippets of white card for snowdrifts and added some
flat stickers and a die cut sentiment.

As seems to be my favorite layout lately, I've framed the design
with a stitched die cut.

Challenges:

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Gorgeous trees, Bonnie! I love how you created such a beautiful winter scene with all those fabulous snowflakes and drifts, and your silver foil sentiment is just perfect!

I love this PB stamp. Such a beautiful picture. I love how you hid him in the depths of the window. This allows me to move for a moment in the middle of winter, when you can observe such scenes through the window. This card is perfect in this hot summer time.
Hugs,
BożenA

This is a beautiful PB image (and I think I have it!). I hope you like the WOW Embossing as much as I do...it just seems to work better for me on some things. You've done a splendid job with that dark snowy sky, lovely shading with the sponging. Of course the frontage looks great, just like great big snowflakes. I love the torn snowdrifts and the jewels shining in the tree. TFS & Hugs

Beautiful, beautiful blue snowy sky, Bonnie! Love the shades of the blue. And the white heat-embossed trees look fantastic! Adding the snowfall with Chunky White Frantage worked so well to create this scene. The silver die-cut sentiment placed at an angle is a really nice touch! Hideko xx

Gorgeous winter scene, Bonnie! Beautiful inking to create your background. Love how you grounded the trees so they ‘don’t blow away’ 😉... the Frantage looks cool and gives awesome texture. xx

Great looking card! I have this stamp and have used it for Dec. and Jan. birthdays and Christmas. Your sky looks so real and I love the addition of the frantage snow. The red embellishments really set it off as does the stitched die and silver foil sentiment.
