Bashful Copper

Hello friends.  Thanks for stopping by.

We're using metal on our cards at CAS Mix Up this month.

I've used another piece of a heated copper die cut that dear Loll sent me a long time ago.

I put the flower on a piece of Brusho background.
I explain how I did it on this post.

I added a drop of alcohol ink to the flower center.

Here's another view that shows the shine of the copper better.

My mixed media are heated copper, Brusho watercolor, stamping, heat embossing and die cuts.

Challenge closes on the 24th.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Sending you Phrases (Creek Bank Creations)
Ink:   Cajun Craze
Paper:   Neenah Classic Natural, Acrylic Paper and Mixed Media (Strathmore), Cajun Craze
Other:  Brushos (Orange), Heated Copper, Bashful Die (PB), Stitched Rectangles (SSS)

The mix of the medias is stunning Bonnie. Love the way you did the background and saved the card you did last time with this fabulous technique and this will be saved too. Fabulous colours together and the faux copper die cut flower looks amazing.
Great example of using the medias, incorporating the faux metal challenge and keeping it CAS....Love it x.

Fabulous use of the heated copper, Bonnie! And the background is so beautiful - that is a wonderful technique with the brushos and the stamping. You've reminded me that I have some of heated copper that I should use up.
