Your sweet and thoughtful comments warm my heart!
Your card-stock is definitely peach - and a perfect backgorund for your adorable, 'full-figured' little chick. Such a sweet, fun card.

I totally agree that your background is peach Bonnie, and you know I love that "full figured" (hahaha!!) little birdie as you're the one who enabled me to buy that Flock Talk set! You've colored him (her?) beautifully and this whole card is just as sweet as can be! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the colors, great card too! We all need a bit more of your "fluffy" guy -- I just had to order him myself, he's so fun!
ReplyDeleteI think that darling puff-ball-birdy thinks your cardstock is just peachy - maybe he's just holding his breath until someone tells him to blow out his candles, Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could come back a stamp him again!

I kinda like this color combo and I really like your little birdie! He makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteI love him and he looks good with that peach belly.
ReplyDeleteI'd call that background peach for sure. I love those scruffy Unity birds and he definitely looks good coloured peach and cobalt!
ReplyDeleteThat bird just makes me smile, Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteYour cardstock looks peach keen to me, Bonnie and that cutie little bird just makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteOkay I am laughing - you have captured my body type perfectly!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little critter - it looks like he is saying "where am I?"
Once again you have captured how I feel especially after our move.
Way to go lady - a very happy and delightful card!

That bird is so goofy, Bon, just up my alley! You can imagine lots of conversation bubbles over his head, but I don't think there would be any complaints about your pretty peach background! I love the texture and your coloring and I appreciate you using this week's I.D.E.A.S. Calendar and linking in the gallery. Hugs, Dolly
ReplyDeleteHa! This chick always makes me laugh. Plump and purdy and always lots of fun! I think I need some of those Unity birds (I say as I sit knee deep in NBUS, sheesh). A fabulous card, Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteLove that chick. It is good to use colours differently sometimes. I really like the look xx
ReplyDeleteYour card still makes me smile! I love that little giddy bird. Also the color choice is fascinating, it's a really interesting combination. This card is incredibly inspiring. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteThat bird is so much fun! I love his expression and that background embossing folder is a fave of mine--perfectly peach in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really fun card Bonnie, and I love the peach and cobalt tones together with the embossing in the background and the sweet little bird added on the stitched deckle rectangle over the top. x
ReplyDeleteBonnie, since I first saw your card, I was in love with that little chick! I think you did beautifully with your color choices and the embossing in the background adds the perfect amount of interest. Love this!!
ReplyDeleteYour plump little chick looks grumpy but charming none the less! Love the EF you've used too and the deckle edged white panel your chick is stamped on. :)
