Stenciled Leaves

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I have another stenciled card today.  This one is for a grandson's birthday and it's

a monarch size slimline card that works great for a money holder.

I have lots of stencils, but I'll admit that they are not something I think to pull out

unless there is a challenge to use them.  That doesn't stop me from buying more though.

And I always usually enjoy using them.

I thought these leaves would work well for a masculine adult card.  It's hard to believe

that he is an adult now.  Time flies!

I used brushes to add fall colors of ink through the stencil and added some

depth with watercolor pencils.

Then I added some stamped splatters.  I'm not sure I like them, but they are

here to stay.

Ink:   Early Espresso, Baked Brown Sugar (SU), Crushed Olive, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade (DI)

Paper:   Neenah Solar White

Other:  Leaves stencil (SSS), Caran d'ache Supracolor Pencils (Dk Carmine), Arteze Watercolor Pencil (Hazlenut)
