Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
Christmas is coming at breakneck speed it seems.
The pages of that calendar turn so fast!
A friend came to spend some crafty time with me a little while back and she
brought some of her Christmas toys for me to try. That's always a lot of fun and a
great way to expand our stash.
I stamped this adorable image and colored it with Copics.
Anybody that's ever had a cat can appreciate their fascination with Christmas trees.
Our cat never tried to climb the tree like this one, but she had a favorite snowflake that
would be on the flour every morning. We don't have that kitty any longer, but that
battered snowflake still finds it's place on our Christmas tree with sweet memories
of an old friend.

Awwwww...what a FUN image Bonnie!! I love your kitty story about the snowflake and glad to hear you kept it for the memories...they're always such a big part of our family life, aren't they?! Your card is so cute and beautiful coloring too my friend!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteI love the image and it brings back memories. We had a cat that used to sleep in the lower branches. This kitty wants to reach the top. Wonderful coloring BTW!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, our Calvin always climbed 'into' the tree, but Hobbes was happy napping under it snuggled into the skirt!
ReplyDeleteIt's a darling image, fabulous card, and very happy memory, Bonnie!

"Now would not be the time to have to go potty" the cat thought just before tree and cat came tumbling down.
ReplyDeleteI have 2 cats and I can't remember a time when I didn't have cats.
Cute card Bonnie - time for a new kitten!
Sandy xx
That image is so cute and your coloring perfect. Glad you had some crafty time with your friend, and that this image brings back sweet memories.
ReplyDeleteYour sweet and adorable card is magical, especially while bringing back such precious memories! What fun to visit with a friend and mark off a few more Christmas cards at the same time, so glad you got that sweet time together
ReplyDeleteAs sweet and cute as your card is, it's the memory of your cat that has me smiling! I'll bet that snowflake is a treasured ornament on your tree!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great image. Love the simple background and framing. It works so well xx
ReplyDeleteI love that image (I have it too)! You coloured it so well and I love the way you added the strips of colour down each side.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fun image and fills the card beautifully Bonnie, and the strips of green down each side frame it perfectly. x
ReplyDeleteadorable cat in the Christmas tree, it really makes me smile. Great colouring with the comics xx
ReplyDeleteAwww, sweet memories for sure. None of our cats ever climbed the tree, but we had an orange neighbor cat who slipped through the door whenever it was opened just so he could run to the tree and wreak havoc. We loved him. Such a cute and fun stamp, beautifully colored and crafted!
ReplyDeleteAwww ... such a cute image and you've coloured it beautifully, Bonnie! And such sweet memories too that you're reminded of everytime you add the snowflake ornament to the tree. :) xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing at the ABC Christmas Challenge!
