Petal Perfection

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

The weather reports are all predicting some really cold temperatures
and freezing precipitation over much of the United States.  We are as
prepared as we can be and expecting freezing rain.  Hopefully we won't lose
power but in case we do, I'm posting this card now.

I used Jen T.'s sketch at Freshly Made Sketches to make a birthday card for
my sister-in-law.

I used the stencil from the Petal Perfection stencil and die set to color some
flowers and die cut them to arrange in place of the circles in Jen's sketch.

Since I used a stencil, I'll share this at Just Us Girls where Bobby is asking for
anything using a stencil.

I pray that we all stay safe through this storm and maybe get some
crafty time during it.

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Banner Sentiments (PTI)
Ink:   Elegant Eggplant, Wilted Violet, Bundled Sage
Paper:   Neenah Solar White
Other:  Large Words EF (Kwan Crafts), Petal Perfection Stencils and Die (PFS)

Enjoy!

  2. Your purple flowers are so sweet, Bonnie, and that text embossed background looks fabulous. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls. They've predicted a foot of snow here but we're ready for it. Hopefully we won't lose power.

  5. Wonderful - fancy yet clean and simple. That is a beautiful purple color.
In case you get really bad weather, the only advice I have is to hunker down with a good book and a flashlight!

  9. Hello Bonnie.
Your card is wonderful. The petals are truly beautiful, creating perfect flowers. I love your embossed backgrounds; you always choose the background pattern so well.
I'm sure you'll survive the onslaught of winter. We're not used to harsh winters, but there was a time when it was normal, and no one wondered if we'd make it through. I'm sure everything will be fine, and to be sure, I'm sending you many warm wishes, my dear Bonnie.
    Hugs,
    BożenA xx

  10. Beautiful card Bonnie. Those blooms look like delicate paper type petals. Stay warm, safe and I hope the ice stays away from the powerlines and trees.

  13. CAS and absolutely beautiful Bonnie! I love the POP of purple from your blooms against all that white embossed background...your SIL is going to LOVE it...I sure do!! I'm sending some extra prayers your way that you stay safe and don't lose power! It looks like we will be spared from much of this monster storm (only a few inches expected here), but we had over 2 feet of snow in the last 5 days and a low last night of -27 degrees...that was actual air temp, not feels like! Brrrrrrr!! Heat wave tomorrow with a high of 5. Have I mentioned I'm ready for Spring?? Again, stay safe my friend!! Hugs. :0)
