Green and Gold for Color Hues

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's time for a new challenge at Color Hues.

This month my super talented friend Karen picked our colors.  She chose....

My thoughts went to St. Patrick's Day that is coming up.  I'm not Irish, but
I love the Irish Blessings and shamrocks.  This die set didn't include a four leaf clover,
but I have a dogwood die that worked just fine to bring a little luck to this card.

I did another while I was at it....

More green on this one.

Now let's go and see what my talented friends and our
fantastic Guest Designers Darnell & Donna have done to inspire you.

I hope you'll create a card using Green and Gold and add it to the gallery at

Challenge ends at 9:00 AM on March 14th.

  10. You do gold and green so well, Bonnie! Two absolutely beautiful cards. I'll have to take another look at my dogwood die. I soooo wanted the Into the Blooms: Clover after seeing you use it, but sold out at SSS. I'll persevere.

  17. The clovers and shamrock are colored so realistically, I love that! Both are such pretty cards, Bonnie. I agree with Michele, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day and it's a fun time to celebrate because we're on the verge of Spring. The sentiments on both cards are wonderful as well.

  20. These two St. Patrick's Day cards are among the most beautiful I've ever seen, Bonnie! The shamrocks in the first card are so beautiful. They appear to have a wonderful sheen to them, and I love that Irish blessing. Your pocket with the gold stitching was a great place to tuck the shamrocks in the second card--and another wonderful Irish blessing! Tracy may get a shamrock birthday card next year with all this inspiration!
