Lime Green and Violet for Color Hues

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's time for a new challenge at Color Hues.

This month Tracey picked our colors.  She chose....

I've stamped the flower with Memento Toffee Crunch and colored with Arteza Twimarkers.

The watery background was done by scribbling the markers onto acetate, spritzing
and smooshing onto a piece of Betterpress paper.

Now let's go and see what my talented friends have done to inspire you.

I hope you'll create a card using Lime & Violet and add it to the gallery at

Challenge ends at 9:00 AM on May 29th.

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Garden Trio (PB), Banner Sentiments (PB), Scripted Background (W+9)
Ink:  Memento Toffee Crunch, Versafine Onyx Black, Whisper White
Paper:  BP Porcelain, Neenah Solar White
Other:  Arteza Twimarkers (Violet, Lime Green, Apple Green), Essential Modern Labels die (SB), Garden Trio die (PB), Mistletoe Greetings die (SB), Micron Pen, White EP

Enjoy!

  3. Those flowers are beautifully colored and perfect for the challenge, Bonnie. The smooshed panel made a great background for them, separated by the oval of course.

  4. The background perfectly complements your beautiful flowers and is truly stunning. I love how the water transfers the paint color, creating these unique splashes. The color combination is wonderful, full of freshness and positive vibes. A great card to inspire us.
