Snowman Hugs

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I really need to ramp up the Christmas cards now that July is here.
It seems like it comes quicker each year.

I saw a couple of challenges that wanted to see snow and I just happened to have this
stamp in my NBUS box.  So it was the perfect time to get some ink on it.

I stamped with alcohol friendly black ink and colored with my Ohuhu Markers.
I love that they have a brush tip and a bullet tip for those tight spaces!

I used a cloud stencil for the background but then went over it with more ink.
Some chunky Frantage embossing powder helps the feeling of snow falling.

I stamped again with alcohol friendly gray ink.  White it's out, might as well to
get another Christmas card done.

This time I used more green colors than teal and a very light inking in the background.

I embossed some snow on the framing this time.  Sort of a reverse snow globe.

Challenges:
CAS Christmas - Linda is asking for a snowman (I hope it's okay to have more than one.)
NBUS  #88 - Never Before Used Schtuff
Peace on Earth #115 - I was inspired by the bottom right picture on the moodboard

  1. Bonnie, your snow couples couldn't be cuter! I love your sky on the first - snow days do look very much like this! Two more darling Christmas cards! Did they cool you off?

  2. Those two look happy to finally make it onto a card, Bonnie, and you set a beautiful background for them. I got the pastel Ohuhu markers and they smear with the two inks I used. It's okay as long as I don't touch the black ink.

  25. My favorite...........Christmas cards. This is adorable. I do love an alcohol ink marker that has a great nib to get into the tight areas. Keep making. You have less than 5 months. Especially with the delivery of the postal system these days. [Bunny]
