Serene Silhouettes may not be a silhouette this time, but it is serene due to the Dynamic Duos challenge.
I used the layout from the CAS challenge at SCS this week. The inspiration card is simply beautiful and I was tempted to do an exact CASE. I loved how she used her Crop-A-Dile for the embossing across the bottom of her card and I did that. My Crop-A-Dile pretty much just sits there gathering dust. I was happy to find another good use for it.
I think this would be a good card to send to a guy or as a sympathy card.

Our weather has turned so nice! After days of heat and humidity, we've had a warm but breezy and humidity free day today. How lovely!
I'm so glad you stopped by. I hope you come back soon.
Enjoy!

Oh, Bonnie, that's one gorgeous card!! Love the colors and the layout too!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Bonnie! Very striking.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful card Bonnie. One of my favourite colour combinations. I love how you have used this image.
ReplyDeleteI struggled so much to make a sympathy card yesterday. I couldn't get the right colours, the right feel, anything. This colour combination works beautifully for it. I love these stamps - hope we get these ones too!
ReplyDeleteThis is so classy Bonnie - and yes, the design is serene too. Love the Crop-a-dile embossing (I sold mine ages ago as I never used it - wish I'd kept it now)! River Rock is one of my all-time favourite SU colours and it looks fantastic here, combined with the AA and white.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sylvia xx
It's a perfect card for anyone Bonnie! I love the textured card stock and the image is beautiful. Your twine embellishment and those embossed dots are perfect additions too - a truly fabulous card!
ReplyDeleteI do love how you do those silhouettes, Bonnie. This is very serene, indeed!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! You're right - it would be a great masculine card. I must keep that in mind - and use some of my botanical stamps for masculine cards but just in this kind of a colour scheme instead of my usual floral colour schemes.
ReplyDeleteGood CASE--I recognized it right away! You do such nice work!
ReplyDeleteThis is a Pinner! Thanks for the inspiration. I adore those colors and just love how serene and lovely you've made them!
ReplyDeleteSo elegant, Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful. I love the textured card stock, beautifully stamped image, the twine and the row of embossing created by your crop-a-dile. Thanks for sharing your work with us at Dynamic Duos.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Bonnie. Such pretty, textured paper, too. I know what you mean about your Crop-A-Dile gathering dust. But, occasionally I need it and it sure comes in handy when I do. I like what you did with yours.
ReplyDeleteIt really is a serene card. I love the way you've used your colours and changed up your silhouette stamps. x
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I love the stamp you chose for this card and color duo! So pretty! I really like the twine and the Crop-A-Dile embossing!! I'm seriously considering selling my own Crop-A-Dile! I just don't use it either! :) Thanks for joining us again at Dynamic Duos!
ReplyDeleteBonnie, this is absolutel gorgeous! i love, love, LOVE your clean design and the embossed detail from the Crop-a-Dile. What wonderful inspiration to dust mine off, as well. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Dynamic Duos! :)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful (as always). Your eye for detail and synchrony is amazing. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. Lindasue
