Here's a card that I did for a Color Challenge quite a while back and never got posted. It's been sitting here on my desk and I've been enjoying it. I thought it was about time that I shared it with you.
The colors were Pink Pirouette, Raspberry Ripple and Crumb Cake.
I stamped the flourish with Crumb Cake at an angle, stamped the label in Crumb Cake and fussy cut it out, stamped the flower in Raspberry Ripple, painted it with a Pink Pirouette marker and fussy cut that out too.
The label is mounted on dimensionals and the sentiment is stamped in Whisper White.
So quick and easy.
I grabbed the wrong punch. I meant to round the corners but used the ticket corner punch instead. I don't know that I'd seen a card with the main corners punched like this, but I couldn't put it back. At least there's not a big smear across the front of the card.
I'm really liking this set.
All supplies are Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted.
Card Recipe

You crack me up! ;-) I really like the ticket punched corners--it mimics the corners on the label. Love the colors too--beautiful card, Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteHi Bonnie! Love this CAS card. The colors are so pretty together, and I like how you used the Crumb Cake as your main color with a pop of Pink and Raspberry. Love the flourish and beautifully shaped sentiment. The flower is gorgeous. Personally, I like the ticket-corner punched bottom ... it's different and has more of an elegant look than the rounded. I think you grabbed the right punch :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that gave me a giggle Bonnie, it is so something l would do..:0)
ReplyDeleteBut it certainly didn't take away from this stunning CAS card! such a pretty colour combo and my favourite new stamps too...thanks for the inspiration my friend. xxx
Ooooo I do like these corners even if you didn't mean for them to look like this. Everything Eleanor is looking particularly beautiful in this card!
ReplyDeleteLovely soft old-fashioned look - so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi Bonnie, typically that's the kind of thing I'd do ... fortunately, your error has worked out fine - the corners look great and the card is lovely. The colour combination is one of my favourites. Elizabeth x
ReplyDeleteLovely combo of colours and a beautiful card
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful images...the flower is awesome. I think the ticket corner punch is very nice at the bottom, so no problems there.
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I've done the same thing with that punch....but I love how your card - and the punched out places too. It gives it a totally different and lovely look.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
Lynn
It's beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteOooo, ooo, oooo! I looooooove this one! The combo of a neutral with a pop of bright pink, the clean design and a touch of shabby chic is like the perfect storm for me!! (a good storm ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, what an elegant card Bonnie! I love the use of the Crumb Cake and the small pop of color with the Raspberry and Pink.
