At Less is More this week, the challenge is to
I'd like to thank Mandi and Chrissie, who have done a fantastic job inspiring us with this challenge. And a thank you to all the many participants each week that share their cards. There's so much inspiration on this site!
I used a new stamp set, Papillon Potpourri for this card. If you like butterflies, it's the bomb! There's even a punch to go with it.
All supplies are Stampin' Up!
Card Recipe
Stamps: Creative Elements, Curly Cute, Papillon Potpourri
Ink: Crumb Cake, Jet Black StazOn
Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Other: Elegant Butterfly Punch, Scallop Trim Corner Punch
I hope you've had an enjoyable and safe Independence Day. We'll be watching the July 4th celebration in Washington DC on PBS this evening. (I hope it doesn't get rained out like the Memorial Day celebration.) How do you celebrate the holiday?
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Enjoy!
take our
"Less is More"
header as the inspiration for this challenge.

Sawweeet! I love this and smell a winner! That corner is mm-waugh and even the sentiment has a flourish!
ReplyDeleteI know I'm getting repetitive, but I really hope we get this stamp set too! This looks really classy in these colours. That butterfly is ever so eye-catching!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Bonnie! I love the muted colors, it makes for a stunning card.
ReplyDeleteIt's a quiet 4th here in southcentral Alaska. My husband had to work so when he gets home we'll BBQ and hang out with the kids. Its cloudy and drizzly, but thats ok because 22 hrs of light doesnt really make for fun fireworks. Hubby and I both have to work tomorrow so we'll be in bed early :)
Bonnie, this is gorgeous! Love the butterfly punch (and need to get mine ordered) with the flourish. Really like the one punched corner too! So pretty.

ReplyDeleteI got an error message when I tried to post my comment so forgive me if this appears twice!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card--I love your take on the LIM header! And Happy Fourth to you!
Beautiful creation, Bonnie! Not much celebrating this year as it is on Wed. I love when the kids are home and we have good food, go to fireworks, and just have fun times with the little munchkins.
ReplyDeleteBonnie...it's so gorgeous!! That butterfly was the first set that I got - I love how you have done it in black and crumb. The corner and coordinating label is a wonderful touch!
