This is probably my favorite butterfly of all the (many) butterfly stamps I have.

The Dynamic Duos challenge last Saturday was...
My Wild Wasabi didn't stamp bright. I think it's because it's on the Naturals White cardstock although it could have more to do with the stamper!
All supplies are Stampin' Up!
Card Recipe
Stamps: Papillon Potpourri, Just Believe
Ink: Jet Black StazOn, SU Markers (Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black)
Paper: Naturals White, Basic Black
We found an old remote control that we let Jack have to play with. He thinks he's big stuff now. And we keep telling him not to push the buttons. He thinks it's hilarious. He got the real one a couple of times and we had to reboot the system because we couldn't figure out how to fix it any other way. When DH and I retired we said we weren't going to have to learn any more electronic stuff. If only......
Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoy!
That butterfly IS really beautiful. Might have to add it to my next SU! order (which is getting very big ... maybe just a titch over the top) :)
ReplyDeleteLove the color - so vibrant.
Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous! Love that bright pop of color on that Naturals background. That black border brings it all together too!
ReplyDeleteI like this on the Naturals White card stock Bonnie! And I DO love that beautiful butterfly too. I haven't even inked mine up yet-but will.
ReplyDeleteSuch and PRETTY card! Love it.
Lynn
This is fantastic, Bonnie! I love how that black frame brings out the black detail in the beautiful butterfly! What a pretty scene! Thanks for joining us at Dynamic Duos! :)
ReplyDeleteBonnie I love that butterfly too its beautiful popped up a bit. Gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous Bonnie - I love the pop of orange against the muted background. I bet Jack is having a whale of a time with that remote!
ReplyDeleteLove this card! I really must get round to inking my Just Believe set!
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I see why that is your favorite butterfly. It's a beauty and so is your card.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean...we have to put the remote high up somewhere when little hands are visiting.
They can do a lot of damage. :-)
The butterfly looks fantastic stamped with Pumpkin Pie. I love your CAS design. Great to have you playing along at Dynamic Duos.
ReplyDeleteThe black frame really sets off this card. I was giggling at the thought of Jack learning to control a remote early in life!
ReplyDeleteI like the way the wild wasabi stamped - it looks just right against the natural cardstock. And the butterfly is gorgeous - coloured that way, it really looks like a monarch butterfly.
ReplyDeleteSimply lovely! I'm glad you used the Naturals White even though the green came up different...it's the perfect backdrop to this gentle scene. So glad to see you at Dynamic Duos!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Bonnie! I love that pop of orange on the naturals card stock. I actually really like how the Wasabi looks on the Naturals card stock...it really works with the natural-feel of your card. So glad you joined us this week at Dynamic Duos! :)
