I looked in my Christmas card box yesterday. Wow, thanks to Merry Monday, I think I have enough for my list and my Dad's. What a relief to have these cards made ahead of time. Now the danger is putting off signing and addressing them. Need to work on that.
I did this card last week and still had the elements out. I was looking at this sketch and had an Aha moment. I love this ornament embossed with gold and backed with the Champagne Glimmer Paper.
This time I used the Good Cheer Builder Wheel that I took off the wheel and mounted. I stamped it in the metalllic gold ink but didn't emboss it.
Here's this week's sketch from the talented Lesley.

All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted
Card Recipe
Stamps: Ornament Keepsakes, More Merry Messages, Good Cheer Builder Wheel (unmountted)
Ink: Encore Gold
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Champagne Glimmer
Other: Gold EP, Big Shot, Delicate Designes EF, Holiday Ornaments Framelit, Organdy Ribbon (my very last snippet and I'm sad to say I'll miss it.)
I'll go to Di's playground with my last snippet of ribbon. She's busy this week, and there's always some mischief going on when she's away.
I'm so glad you stopped by. I love to hear from you so don't be shy.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteVERY Classy, Bonnie, I am glad I did not really check it out BEFORE I made mine or I should have been terribly intimidated - WOW! Should I be so lucky to even RECEIVE one like this. So elegant, thanks for showing.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

The colors you used on this card are so elegant & just lovely. The top embossing really enhances the ornament and makes this card pop. Great idea of how you made the sketch fit your card...you did a marvelous job with it. TFS
ReplyDeleteHi Bonnie
ReplyDeleteI've left a little surprise for you on my blog page.

Oh the elegance Bonnie!!!!!! Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Bonnie! Congrats on getting your cards done early. I have only 3 to go for my 100 while I concentrate on Thanksgiving cards. I developed the tradition of signing and addressing my cards on Black Friday while I avoid the overcrowded malls. Then I do my mall shopping on Cyber Monday when the malls are virtually empty of shoppers and flu viruses! See you in the (snail) mail...
ReplyDeleteOh Bonnie! This is sooo gorgeous I could lick the puter screen! Well done you.

Bonnie, this card is BEAUTIFUL!!! Sorry I haven't been around much, but life is really throwing me some curve balls lately! Back to the card...gorgeous, gorgeous!!!
