Again, Lesley has a great sketch for Merry Monday!
I had just got this poinsettia die that I'd been wanting for at least a year. DH says if you've wanted something that long, you probably should get it. He didn't have to tell me twice! So guess what I used for that little circle?
And what a perfect use for some snippets of that pretty decorative paper I've been enjoying. So over to Pixie's Crafty Workshop I go.
And I also want to honor Shadow's Mom (Lee-Anne) who is the Featured Stamper at SCS this week. She did a beautiful punched poinsettia card last year. Congratulations, Lee-Anne! Enjoy your week.
Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Teams cards. I've had a sneak peek and they are gorgeous!

Wow! What a beautiful card, Bonnie. I bought that poinsettia die last night and didn't use it until this year. I do love it. Yours was perfect for the circle.

THIS is a gorgeous card, Bonnie! Did you trim the Apothecary mat by hand? And what did you use for the bottom scallop edge? Thanks for sharing your handiwork! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and elegant Bonnie, and the poinsettia is lovely.
ReplyDeleteOk, this is probably a dumb question but how did you layer the image from the Ap0thecary Accents Die? I have seen others do this but can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. Thanks LuAnn
ReplyDeleteThat certainly is a beautiful die cut poinsettia and I agree if you have wanted something for over 6 months then it should be the law that you can get it. hugs, Amanda x
