Good Merry Monday morning. This week's challenge is a sketch.
Card Recipe
Stamps: Winter Memories
Ink: Jet Black StazOn, Pool Party, Island Indigo, SU Markers
Paper: Naturals White, Island Indigo, Whisper White, DSP
Other: Labels Collection Framelits, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine
Here's what I did with it.
I actually used 2 (count em) different papers on this card! The design piece is from my January calendar page. It fit perfectly with this sketch.
The shaped mat is actually 2 cuts of the same die as the design piece. I cut one piece in half vertically and one horizontally and pieced them together.
The CCEE challenge this week is create a card that features some sort of weather eg sun, clouds, rain, snow etc.
The Christmas Card challenge at SCS is to do cards that showing Winter sports.
Just wait til you see what the other Merry Makers have come up with
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted

I know some of you have more snow than you want right now. I hope you are warm and dry.
Thanks for stopping by to visit. I love having you come.
Enjoy!
I love the sketch and I'm in love with the snowman image. What a surprise, right? :-) Your card fits perfectly with the CCEE challenge this week. I'm so glad to see you join us. It's a super card!!
ReplyDeleteAll we have in AL is rain, rain, and more rain. :-(
Super cute card, Bonnie! I love this image and always forget I have this set! Love your mix of papers, twine and sentiment!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! :)
I love the "warm" sentiment against the "cool" papers! And the image is just so cute!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and wintry looking! Love the colors on here and great matching on the DP's!

Such a wonderful image and I just love the pop of red with the twine :) Great card.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun winter card. Love that stamp you used. Reminds me of when I was a kid and playing in the snow.
ReplyDeleteI was so busy last week I didn't get the Merry Monday challenge done but will try to this week - your fabulous version of the sketch is inspiring me! Thanks for explaining how you did the blue mat around the image - I was puzzling over that when I saw your card on SCS!!
ReplyDeleteLove the vintage warmth of this card Bonnie, your colouring really makes the scene come to life!!
ReplyDeleteWondeful card Bonnie, I love the wintery scene you have created.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Bonnie!! And how clever you are to figure out how to piece the mat together that way. I'll have to try that out when I don't have a larger die!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely, Bonnie! You worked wonders with that sketch. I love how this turned out :-)
ReplyDeleteSweet card! Love that Island Indigo! Great use of DP. I have so much of it and rarely use it - I'm more of a collector! :) Loll xx

ReplyDeleteLove how you used this sketch Bonnie! That is a fun winter scene!
ReplyDeleteA great "real" Christmas card scene, love it
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna call you the Queen of Scene's Bonnie - you always create such lovely scenes with your sponging! I totally love this one!
