Another post for today. Here's the second card I made from the not so good stamping I did on Sunday. This time I turned it over and got a good stamping. Only trouble was that after it was all colored, I realized I could see the stems through the cardstock. Even laying it on some yellow didn't hide them. So I punched the image so those pesky stems wouldn't show.
This was to be for the Queen for the Day at SCS last week. DJ has a wonderful gallery with lots of flowers and butterflies. I found lots of inspiration there. When I saw this card, I thought of this stamp and yellow flowers. I was going to use a different layout but DJ's layout was perfect for this salvaged image. And I ended up loving the results. Hope you do too.
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted

We had a rainy morning when I had to run errands. Now that I'm home, the sun is out. All this warm weather and rain is making the leaves start to open. I think we'll be seeing a lot of pollen in the coming days. It will be nice to see the trees green again.
Thanks for stopping to visit. I hope you're having a wonderful day whatever your weather.
Enjoy!
