Robot Piecing

The Queen for the Day Challenge at SCS this week is Angie.  Her gallery is fantastic!  She has a wonderful variety of cards and projects.  There's something for everyone there.  Since I had recently found this robot stamp on clearance at Hobby Lobby, I chose this project of Angie's to CASE.

I love the look of paper piecing, but I've never done much of it.  This guy seemed perfect to try this technique and in the process get a few snippets out of the leftovers box.  So I can go visit the gals at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Here's a closeup of the little guy.  He looks kinda mean doesn't he?

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Stampabilities
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Paper:  Whisper White, Snippets

I don't think I've ever used so much decorative paper on a card.  It was fun to get out of the box.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Enjoy!
