Blooming Meadow

Here's a little bit of Spring for you.  I hope that wherever you are you are finally seeing some signs of Spring.

When I saw Virginia's beautiful card at the Muse Challenge, I thought of a pretty flower garden.  And this stamp is perfect for a flower garden.  Here's Virginia's card.

Colour Q gave me the colors.

Inkspirational Challenge has the perfect sketch for this image.

Queen for the Day this week at SCS is Jeanne S.  I hope I get time to CASE more of  her cards.  I saw several that made the wheels start turning.  But this card, with it's bright, pretty flowers, won me over right away.

Vicki Burdick had a birthday this week and Lesley at Always Playing with Paper is linking up birthday cards for her.  So I'm dropping this off over there too.  Happy Birthday, Vicki!

I'd better stop.  My DS and BIL are visiting and I'm being quite rude sitting here at the computer with you instead of enjoying their company.

All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Blooming Meadow (Hero Arts)
Ink: SU Markers (Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade, Crumb Cake)
Paper:  Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake
Other:  Tulip Frame EF

I'm so glad you could stop to visit.

Enjoy!

  25. Hi Bonnie,
Love love love your card and since I own this stamp too, I may have to try this!!

As for my Vagabond, it's due to arrive on Monday and I'm excited to try it. I do love my Big Shot and even have a Cuttlebug, but I'm finding it more difficult, especially when I'm fatigued or I have a lot to cut.

I have wanted one for along time, but felt it was too expensive, so when I found that deal on Overstock, I went for is and now HOPE I am as happy as others. I am not thrilled with the look of a Vagabond...definitely a TIm thing and wish it was more feminie looking, but oh well.

I'll be sure to post an update when I have used it a bit and let you know how it goes. I hope to keep it right on my desk (long table) as I'm also die-cutting or embossing!!

    Lisa

PS: Thanks so much for your wonderful comment !!

  45. I just popped by to return your visit, and have been scrolling back through some of your beautiful creations. Wow--what a bunch of beautiful cards you have displayed. I can't believe I've never been by before. This card is particularly striking--I think I have this stamp, and have only done it with one color. I'm wondering how you got it to have so many colors? You are a genie.
