I am so blessed to have wonderful friends. One of these friends is Loll of Stamping with Loll. She is a constant source of inspiration and she always shares how to do her cards. I always learn something from her blog. Recently she made some card candy. I was a lucky recipient and couldn't wait to use it.
Enjoy!
Isn't this daisy amazing? The sponging on the petals and the center with the glitter is beautiful!
I thought it would be perfect for the Muse challenge this week. This week's Muse is Jen Mitchell and this is the card she created for our inspiration.
I love this layout with the rounded corners on the top and how the design piece is dropped to the bottom of the card. I was also inspired by the colors.
Edited to add that I was so excited to get a card done that I forgot a couple of challenges.
CCEE Stampers Challenge 1318 want us to make it shimmer. Do you see the glitter in the center of the daisy?

ReplyDeleteYes indeedy, that is one pretty daisy. And I love that inspired color theme you have going here. Congrats on your candy win, and I'll check out Loll's blog. Always enjoy reading how 'to do' card stuff. Must confess I did NOT recognize the corner die behind your lovely daisy...wasn't sure if it was a flourish or emboss, 'til I read the 'specs. You genius, you. Great idea to use as you do. (Hmmm...note to self: Remember that!) TFS a beautiful card, and I liked your Muse inspiration too! Very classy.
