Carousel Horse

I have a quick and easy card to share with you today.  That's about the only kind I can find time to do lately.  The image is one that I stamped a while back and couldn't decide what to do with it.  So I put it in the UFO box.  I'm so glad to be using some of these pieces.

The Dynamic Duos Challenge this week is

My other color choice is Rich Razzleberry.

The CAS challenge this week at SCS is Summer Fun. One of my sweet memories of childhood is the carnival that we had each summer.  Riding the carousel was so much fun. And do remember when the Ferris Wheel and Swings just went around? Now these rides go up and down and spin too.  Oh, the good old days!

I'm not sure what I'll use this card for, but I'm sure when the occasion arrives, I'll know.

All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted

Card Recipe
Stamp:  Carousel Horse (Inkadinkado)
Ink:  Basic Gray
Paper:  Whisper White, Basic Black
Other: Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon

I hope your day is a fun as a carousel ride.  Thanks for sharing some of it with me.

Enjoy!

  2. This is beautiful - I love how you left the image as the focal point. When you've got an image as beautiful as that, sometimes you don't need much more! Very pretty card, Bonnie. Thank you for sharing with us at Dynamic Duos!

  3. Ohhh, I loved the carousel too! We would always end our visit to Cedar Point in Ohio with a ride on the carousel!

And I'm jealous that your UFO box has such beautiful images! Mine...well...does NOT. ;-)

  13. Right on with the way you did this horse. I have it, stamped one - coloring with copics. I really like it better this way. Great job on a beautiful card. TFS

  14. OH! I NEED this carousel horse! it is gorgeous! and I love what you have done with it. Bonnie, I'm trying to scale down to make some CAS cards, but it sure is difficult. Yours are very classy and elegant at the same time - not an easy thing to accomplish. I am your newest follower and hope to be learning a lot more from you. I like that you use several different techniques to make cards which use a single postage stamp, and always something new to look at. (you've been pinned) hugs, de
