The Featured Stamper this week at SCS is Jeanne (aka akeptlife). It didn't take long to find a card from her fabulous gallery to CASE. I chose this card for the bright, pretty flowers. I remembered this image that I'd started to color as a demonstration during a class and threw in my UFO box after. Jeanne's card was just the inspiration I needed to get it out and finish it.
The background of this is stamped with VersaMark and embossed with white. The flowers are not embossed and Inearly went blind colored them with markers. It's much easier to do this technique when it's embossed in black. Like I did here.
Thanks for the visit.
Enjoy!

Bonnie, they are both gorgeous but the black embossed card is outstanding. What a great look and a beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the coloring, Bonnie! WOW. I'm not sure I could have done that without going blind, for sure!! =D
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!!
Stunning Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteFabulous CASE Bonnie-Yes,i'm sure you really enjoyed colouring all those teeny-weeny flowers in LOL! Your second card is very striking-i really like the effect with the black :)

Beautiful flowers and good on you for pressing on with the first one! Just LOVE the pop of colours against the black!! Well done times two :)
ReplyDeleteI love the technique you used to create these pretty cards! The colors just pop, especially on the black!
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely cards but the second is stunning...Wow!!!
ReplyDeleteOoh, both are so beautiful. I hear you on the white background one...I tried this first time - using copics over white embossing. Only did it once! Damaged some nibs. Next time, I used pencils & Memento Markers (which didn't like the emboss texture too much either). Never tried on black. Gorgeous ...both cards. TFS & stay cool
ReplyDeleteBoth beautiful but the black one is stunning!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Glad you didn't go blind, my friend! I love them both! I don't remember seeing the black embossed version before and I have to say it is very striking!!
ReplyDeleteI love both versions - so glad you were able to finish the white one even though it was hard to see what you were doing! The black one is incredibly striking!
ReplyDeleteWow Bonnie! These are both fantastic cards! Love the intense pop of the second one!! Have a fun weekend!!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are gorgeous, Bonnie! The black one is particularly outstanding.
