It's Merry Monday time again. I really enjoy making a Christmas card each week and love to see that stash of Christmas cards growing!
Did you guess this week's challenge?
Pixie's Snippet Playground is open for some wintertime fun so I'm taking my snippets over for a turn on the swings or a sip of hot chocolate if it's too cold to swing. (Actually I'm hoping for hot mulled wine.) And did I hear some whispers about a hot tub?
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted
Card Recipe
Stamps: Stitched Stockings (retired)
Ink: Real Red, SU Markers (Real Red, Garden Green)
Paper: Garden Green, Whisper White, Snippets of Brushed Gold and Real Red)

I hope you'll have time to put some stockings on a Christmas card and join us at Merry Monday for this challenge.
I'm so glad you stopped by.
Enjoy!

A hot tub in the playground???! Count me in! I love, love, love your Merry Monday card. That's a great idea to use the brick background for the stockings (also one of those 'well, why not?' moments). I love the pine needle dies and the fluff on the stockings.
ReplyDeleteI think you might have yourself a Pixie spotlight with this adorable card, Bonnie! It's obvious that you spent a great deal of time on the design, making it a perfect mantle scene above the white-washed brick fireplace for your pretty stockings to take center stage!! Hugs, Darnell

What a great way to use that pine needle border (Mine is still in the packing). These stockings look so festive hanging underneath and I love the dp you used for each one, but especially the striped one. Is this the SU stamp that got retired that I didn't buy? Got the punch, missed the stamp. Boo! Perfect snippets and I hope you got some mulled wine. Yummy. I'm so behind in commenting that I've not been zipping over until I can catch up again! Stay warm & TFS
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card, love the festive pine branches too!
