A couple of years ago I did a tutorial on what I called
And this is another card I made using this technique.
I've been revisiting that technique.
See what happened.
This time I used Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral ink refills.
I'm not telling how many tries it took to get a piece I liked.
Then when I stamped the poppies, the stems didn't stamp right.
So here's the lemonade....
I love lemonade!
Check out the Paper Crafter's Library.
They're Technique Tuesday is all about watercolor today.
Thanks for the visit.
Enjoy!

I love lemonade too, and make it more often than not :) This turned out to be a great card regardless of it's beginnings! The soft coloring is amazing! Great save too!
ReplyDeleteThat is some very impressive lemon ade.
ReplyDeleteI love 'splotches' too Bonnie, but they are hard to control!! You managed it beautifully, both cards are stunning. There is just something about white space and water colour splotches!! :-)

Oh I love this look Bonnie! And it looks like it is fun to do. It is very striking and your oops card, is even more beautiful! I really love this look. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThat is a tricky technique to get right! But you did it, and I love both of your cards. I remember the one with the butterfly that you linked to in your post - it inspired me to try the technique but I never got any results I was happy with! So good for you for revisiting it!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so beautiful with this technique Bonnie. The first card has lots more saturation of color ... is bright and bold. The second is softer, more feminine. Both are GORGEOUS! Loll xx
ReplyDeleteLove the colours on this Bonnie:) huggles Sue xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, and I loved it both ways! ~Diane
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, I love the vibrant colours and watercolours. Cheers, Shirleyx
ReplyDeleteOK, first off: I wanna KNOW how many times it took! Cause these two cards are stunners - love each one. And thanks for the link to the tutorial. I love it when you say you boo-boo'd, cause I learn by boo-boo's. :-) Seriously, these are lovely and the bright hot colors are just needed on a drizzly gloomy day here in my area. TFS & hugs
