Bee Happy

A dear friend sent me some stencils.

I just had to have a play with one of them.

I sponged some Daffodil Delight over some of the stencil
to make the honeycomb.
(Maybe I should have used So Saffron.  It's pretty bright!)

The bee was stamped on vellum with Jet Black StazOn
and cut with the coordinating die.
(Did you notice that this set is being discontinued?) :-(
I colored the bee with markers.

Ink:  Jet Black StazOn, Daffodil Delight, SU Markers (Daffodil Delight, Basic Black)
Paper:  Neenah 110#, Basic Black, Paper Vellum
Other:  Honeycomb Stencil, Backyard Basics Framelits, Happy (Simon Says Stamp)

    Bonnie, this is WOW!!! I love the honeycomb in that color and the bee is fabulous! Love everything about it. Great sponging on the stencil too.

    This looks so very realistic, and is just perfect with the bright color. That little bee looks exactly like what I'm seeing buzzing round here lately. And love that big bold die! Great card. TFS & Hugs. Happy Sunday.

    Brilliantly made card Bonnie. Clever honeycomb background and I do so love the bee - perfect on vellum 'cos his wings look so real.
