Here's a couple of cards with the Flower Shop set.
The first one uses some faux flower soft in the center of the flower.
{The faux "flowersoft" is made by rubbing 2 Styrofoam balls together
and collecting the rubbings in a sandwich bag.
A couple drops of re-inker makes it any color you want.}
This one has a tiny yellow punched flower and pearl in the center.
Which do you like best?
So glad you could stop by.
Enjoy!

I can't decide which I like best. Both are stunning, and I'm loving the piercing on the mats. Terrific soft summery colors on 2 beautiful flowers and that's a great idea on the faux flower soft. I don't have a lot of success with flower soft per se!!! Happy Birthday, and hope you had just a grand day. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteI heard it's your Birthday! I hope you've enjoyed the day. Your cards are very pretty, love the soft orange. Cheers, Shirleyx
ReplyDeleteLove your card and must say thank you for sharing the instructions for making faux flower soft. Have seen flower soft used on so many cards, but resisted the temptation to buy some. Will be trying this, because I love putting flowers on my cards.
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful Bonnie, they caught my eye right away!
ReplyDeleteI like the first one better, I think its the embossing and the way the window frame is positioned.
They are both wonderful though! (and thanks for the tip on the faux flowersoft, I did not know that!)
BOTH are so beautiful Bonnie! I don't think I could pick one over the other. Love the way you did the homemade flower soft too!
ReplyDeleteAnd before I forget - since I did forget to send a card.......HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you had a wonderful day!
Lynn

Two wonderful cards. I like the second one cuz I like the branches! lol

I can't pick a favorite. The different centers make different flowers. You always have such great embossed backgrounds. Happy Birthday, Bonnie.

Gorgeous cards, love that flower stamp. What a neat tip about the faux flower soft, love that tip! Thanks Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed your birthday. Hope it was a great one.
ReplyDeleteLove both of these cards. The color is so pretty. I will have to try that trick for the "faux flowersoft". Thanks for the idea.
Great card! I love the faux flower soft in the center of the flower. This is going to sound ridiculous but I'm pretty sure I never thought to use flower soft on a flower before.
ReplyDeleteI was at a stamp club meeting and a lady demonstrated how to make the faux flower soft. I had to leave the room. The Styrofoam rubbing against Styrofoam sound gave me the willies! I got them all over again reading about in on your blog. *shiver*
