Snowflakes Tag for Twelve Days of Christmas

Have you been over to Loll's

I was so honored that she asked me to be a Guest Designer.

Loll is such an inspiration to all of us.

She's asking for Mixed Media Tags for this challenge.
Here is her definition of Mixed Media

* For this event, Mixed Media is defined as stamps + ink, plus two other elements which add texture and/or dimension.

I sponged white cardstock with Soft Sky, marina Mist and Not Quite Navy
then stamped some snowflakes with water.
It makes very subtle snowflakes, but maybe you can see some in this photo.

I stamped some more snowflakes and a sentiment in silver and heat embossed them.

A snippet of Silver Glimmer Paper cut with the MB Frosty Border
made an easy finish for the design.

I hope you'll check out all the beautiful tags for this event.
Every day Loll posts a tag and has a Guest Designer post too.

Then there's the gallery.

Enter a card and you could win a $40.00 Gift Certificate to STAMPlorations.

Oh, and you have until Nov. 16th to enter.

You can enter lots of times between now and then.

Thanks for the visit.

Enjoy!

  2. Bonnie, this tag and the others you've shared for Loll's inspiration series, are absolutely jaw-dropping, breath-taken-away stunning! The details, the images, the colours...I'm in awe! Thank you, especially, for sharing the 'how to' behind-the-scenes construction. I need to 'reconcile' my relationship with distress inks and sponging; your tags are sure offering incentive to do so! Your gift of creativity is delightful!

  5. Hi Bonnie, sorry it's been so long since I've visited. I subscribe to you by email and I've not been getting my email notifications for your blog. It is frustrating because I can't remember all the blogs I follow to find them. I check and I'm still signed up to get the notifications about your blog, but sadly they aren't coming in. Had the same problem with many other blogs as well. So not sure if the problem is on my end or with Feedburner. Some I've gotten back the notifications on. So this is why I haven't been by in such a long time. Now to catch up with what you've been up to!! I am loving Loll's 24 days of tags and find lots of inspiration from her too. I love that you are one of the guest designers because you always inspire me as well. This tag is just beautiful! I love the softness of the white and blue-so serene and peaceful-just like when it snows in real life. I can see the water stamped snowflakes, it is subtle and looks great. Love the silver embossing added in too. Just gives that richness to the tag. Hugs, Brenda
