Here's another of the butterfly cards I whipped out last week.
I even used a piece of DSP.
Imagine that!
The butterfly was cut from a piece of Irresistibly Yours DSP (a Sale-a-bration choice)
and lightly sponged with Calypso Coral.
I cut some centers out of snippets of Early Espresso so I'd have some on hand.
It's mounted on a piece of Best Year Ever DSP (another Sale-a-bration choice).
A few sequins from the In Color assortment and it was done.
Super quick and easy!

ANYTHING GOES
I hope you're having a great weekend.
We still have snow on the ground from 2 snow storms in one week.
This morning we have freezing rain so the trees are bedecked in ice
and the bird feeders in icicles.
Here's a couple of photos I got a couple of days ago.
a snowy back yard |
Carolina Wren |
House Finch |
How's that for 2 different seasons in one blog post?
No matter what the season, it's a wonderful world!
Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoy!

Two seasons, indeed! I love your big butterfly card...it's gorgeous. And, I'm happy you gave us some weather photos. The ice on trees is a beautiful sight, as well as snow. We, who don't get much think so, anyway. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the bird photos.
Wish I could whip out something this pretty. Love that big beautiful butterfly and the colors! So pretty.
ReplyDeleteLooks like winter in your part of the world! Spring will be here soon.

Fabulous butterfly - it looks gorgeous against the background. xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love the photos you shared :)
ReplyDeleteA big and beautiful butterflyin my favourite colourways too. I like your colourful feathered friends too. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteYou're getting your $$'s worth from this gorgeous butterfly die. Really like the presentation on this gorgeous card too! Enjoyed seeing the snow pictures and also the birdies. You call the red finch a house finch. Around here the locals call it a purple finch - looks red to me! We get the Carolina wren too. Our yellow finches are turning more so each day. We got the rain, but don't think it's icy. Didn't get cold enough I don't think...which is ok by me. This should be the last hurrah for winter...altho we've had some storms in mid-March in years past. Happy Sunday, TFS & Hugs. Stay cozy.
ReplyDeleteI could hardly see the gorgeous butterfly because of the darling birds, Bonnie. They're probably thinking "What is this white stuff anyway?" I hope you don't lose power with all the ice.
ReplyDeleteLove the butterfly..sure reminds me of spring! Pretty card,Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Love the butterfly.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the photos.
Beautiful! I so love these butterfly dies. Oh your yard looks like my yard and your trees look like my trees. lol We have snow too, but we were starting to see some grass here and there when it snowed again on Sunday. Then add some freezing rain on top of the snow. sigh, so ready for spring. Hugs, Brenda
