Good Merry Monday morning.
This week it's Nina's turn to choose our challenge.
Don't you love this sweet picture?
I don't usually do vintage, but once in a while I try my hand at it.
I think it's growing on me and I'll be doing a little more of it.
This image is in my old Print Shop program.
This program has a lot of vintage art.
It's the reason I keep that old computer.

and lightly sponged on some Brushed Corduroy.
I added a snippet of tan grosgrain ribbon and covered with some crochet trim.
I found the linen thread with the little labels lying forgotten in
a basket of things to do. I sponged some Antique Linen on them,
tied the thread in a bow and added it with a rolled glue dot.
All I had to do with the graphic was cut it out and mount it
on a snippet of Crumb Cake with sponged edges.

Enjoy!
With all these snippets, I'm going to

ReplyDeleteIt's lovely Bonnie. (I think I have Print Shop, but now the program doesn't work since we had to upgrade the old XP machine when MS quit supporting it last ?year? that was a real bummer!). Love the way you've enhanced this pretty image with the cream & gold on the backgrounds too. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Bonnie, love the vintage look, the little tags and texture.
ReplyDeleteI started out with Print Shop Pro, I loved it, but now of course technology has overtaken it. I can't access the files though, and, there were such great images on it. That's where my love of digi started. Ah! memories LOL.
This looks like the type of Christmas card we got when I was younger (guess that makes me vintage!!!). LOVE!!! So beautiful!
