Painted Petals Happy Birthday

I think this is my favorite set from the Occasions Catalog.

This aperture piece was sitting in the box and seemed perfect to frame the image.

I cut the image "out of the box" leaving some leaves and the bud to fussy cut.
I loved the way it could hang out of the frame.

The little banner looked kind of lost so I stamped a few flowers on it
to jazz it up.

is celebrating their 6th birthday.

  9. I have this set too Bonnie, and it is a NBUS for me. lol I so need to get my sets out and start playing with them. Perhaps when life slows down some. I love how your card turned out! The "window" is fabulous with the flower showing though and some fussy cut to hang over. I love the thin black frame, as it makes the flowers pop even more. Your banner is just so cute with the flowers framing it, love it! Hugs, Brenda

  10. A perfect card to make when your azaleas are beginning to bloom - mine are probably a few weeks away, but I have one the colour of your lovely blossom on the card. Love the way they are framed and some blossoms and leaves are coming out of the frame!
