Our July challenge is
I love stamping.
It's probably my all time favorite card technique.
Is it a technique?
Come see what I did.....
Today I used a favorite inking technique..
Inking with Markers.
I love the soft, almost watercolor look this technique gives.
I inked the stamp with some Stampin' Up! markers,
huffed on the stamp to moisten the ink,
and stamped on a piece of Whisper White.
I used a damp Aqua Painter to blend the ink just a bit.
Stamped a sentiment, scored the edges and adhered the design to a card base.
I love this image that looks like a couple of friends chatting.
Now it's your turn.
Pull out some favorite stamps, ink them up,
and join us at
And don't forget to go check out the wonderful samples
from the rest of the Design Team.

ReplyDeleteInking with markers- there's an oldie but goodie! Wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I rarely had luck with this coloring, huffing, and stamping technique. Maybe the secret is a little extra water added afterwards. Maybe I'll get brave enough to try again.
