I don't play a lot of sketch challenges.
Sketches boggle my mind.
I usually do a design then see how to fit it on a card.
This sketch is pretty easy, though.
Well I sorta did it.
I'm never sure with sketches whether to do them exactly or not.

I think it is perfect for the sketch. And a very beautiful flower garden.

ReplyDeleteI'm with you, Bonnie - I really dislike sketch challenges and cannot (and do not) do them! Give me an inspiration photo or a theme or a technique challenge any day! Regardless of whether or not it fits the sketch, it's a lovely card - perfect for summer with its warm colours. Love the splatter too!

I'm laughing at your following the sketch comments. I'm the same way. I never quite know whether I've met the sketch or not! Looks to me like you did great on this one. I'm loving the flower patch, and wow, are you becoming expert with the spattering. It added so much to the yellows of the flower garden. And putting your ribbon trim where you placed it, appears to me, that you've aced the sketch perfectly. And it's a perfectly beautiful, and end of summer card. Made me think of the sunflowers we're seeing here in our area. TFS & Hugs
